About Us

Karem Abdelgalil

I am a graduate student at University of Alberta. My name is Karem/Karim. I am interested in many things, but most importantly I am interested in Algebraic geometry, Category theory, and Algebra. I like knowing how different things connect and I like learning different things and solving problems.
Our hope with this blog is to provide complete reference to Algebra: Chapter $0$ and to explore also intuition about some stuff in it.

Vinay Madhusudanan

I am a mathematics lecturer and Ph.D student at Manipal Institute of Technology, presently working in group theory and algebraic graph theory (with particular interest in power graphs of groups and similar constructions). I have been interested in studying category theory for some time now, and hope to be able to apply it in my research. I was delighted when Karem invited me to study Chapter $0$ along with him and blog the solutions. Without doubt, I am the lazy one among the two of us, so I post much less frequently than he does.
